Sighnaghi is a city of historical value, its unique geographical location, contrasting landscape, history, cultural heritage and ethnography are very interesting and attractive for the visitor.

Adventure tourism lovers have the opportunity to actively spend their time in various outdoor activities, such as: hiking, horseback riding, ziplining, paragliding and others, which not only offer tourists a dose of adrenaline, but also allow them to enjoy unique natural landscapes.
It is also worth noting that Sighnaghi is located 110 kilometers from Tbilisi and only takes an hour and a half to get there, and therefore the road is not tiring.

Sighnaghi is interesting with its houses with balconies and old historical streets, here you will find residential houses of the 19th and 20th centuries, some of which (up to 100 buildings in the city of Sighnaghi itself) have been granted the status of a cultural heritage monument. The following places are impressive in terms of views and for photo/video shooting: Baratashvili Street, Rustaveli Street, Gorgasali Street, Ketevan Tsamebuli Street, April 9 Street, Chavchavadze Street, etc.

Sighnaghi is associated with love, accordingly its calling card is the Marriage House existing in the city center, interested persons, including international visitors, are given the opportunity to receive marriage ceremonial service, which is confirmed by a legal document recognized at the international level.

Impressive and memorable is the convent of Bodbe named after Saint Nino, where rests the enlightener of Georgians, Saint Nino, equal to the Apostles. Along with the religious buildings, the monastery's rose garden and the terraced development of the courtyard attract the attention of visitors, from where an extraordinary view of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus mountain system unfolds.

Among the sights of the City of Love, the Sighnaghi Wall attracts special attention, which is one of the monuments of great historical significance not only in Kakheti, but in all of Georgia. It occupies an area of almost 40 hectares, while the length of the wall is up to 4 km. The history of the Sighnaghi fortress is connected with the name of King Erekle II, the king assigned it the main role in protecting Kiziki from the Lezgians, Ottoman-Kizilbash and other enemies. Appropriate infrastructure has been arranged on the historical wall, which gives interested visitors the opportunity to move around the fortress on foot, enjoy the view of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.

The Alazani Valley is rich in natural resources and is one of the most densely populated regions of Georgia.
In a monumental kurgan excavated near the village of Tsno ri, a golden lion statue dated to the second half of the 3rd millennium BC has been discovered (which is depicted today on the Georgian tetri). Such an early depiction of a lion from this period has no analogue in the world.

In the list of must-see sights, an honorable place is occupied by the Sighnaghi Historical-Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum of Georgia, which is equipped in accordance with world museum standards. Nowadays, in the Sighnaghi National Museum there are both archaeological and ethnographic permanent halls, as well as a fine arts gallery. The fine arts gallery includes Niko Pirosmani's permanent hall, where 13 original works of the author are presented. An excursion service also operates in the museum (in Georgian, Russian, and English languages, online booking is also possible), and a souvenir shop also operates in the building - with a fairly wide selection of thematic products.

Guests arriving in the city will find in the center of Sighnaghi the memorial museum of Vano Sarajishvili, one of the founders of Georgian professional vocal art, the most popular and truly famous artist of the beginning of the 20th century, where the singer's personal belongings are preserved, including: musical scores, newspaper materials, musical instruments, family and household items, posters and others.

Today in Georgia only a few people are engaged in the field of sericulture, one of them is Kizikian Lamara Bezashvili, who has a silk farm in the village of Magharo. Lamara began the restoration of the forgotten field at the beginning of the 21st century with a symbolic 21 silkworms, and today she takes care of millions of silkworms. In the “Silkworm Workshop” they create silk products in the form of ready-made textiles, namely: pillows, headscarves, T-shirts, socks and others. The silk grown on the farm and, in general, various components of the silkworm are antiallergic, antiradiation, antiseptic and are actively used in folk medicine. Along with sericulture, the farm also has the purpose of a medical tourism object, Lamara provides guests with information about more than 300 plants, about their medicinal properties and contraindications. It should be especially noted that on site you will find wine aged with silk according to the ancient Georgian monastic method.

In 2007, at the initiative of the Cultural Relations Center “Caucasian House”, women's handicraft workshops were established in the village of Nukriani, where interested persons studied folk crafts, knitting, felt processing and other traditional crafts. Initially, this was the teaching of income-generating activities (crafts) for women living in rural areas, over the years more than 200 women learned the craft and practically, for most of them it became the main source of income. Today, the social enterprise “Nukriani Workshops” is actively involved in cultural-creative events, fairs and exhibitions of various themes; the following types of products are made in the workshops: felt socks, belts, hats, shoes, underwear, rugs, bags, dolls, and others.

A quad bike tour is a touristically interesting attraction, during which the visitor gets acquainted with both the historical city and, through a semi-extreme tour, the sights and interesting places surrounding Sighnaghi.

For lovers of extreme entertainment, in Sighnaghi you will find a zipline, which will take you directly from the entrance of Sighnaghi to the city center and fill you with positive impressions.

Electric buses

It is one of the memorable and cozy places in the city, which is located at the entrance of Sighnaghi in the Kedeli settlement, the tourist complex offers guests both food and accommodation services, as well as horseback riding tours throughout the regions of Georgia. The ranch is also different and interesting in the respect that 30 types of beer are produced on site.

 If your area of interest is tasting a special and foreign dish, you should follow Tamar Mepe Street, where you will become acquainted with the flavors of Mexican dishes at Pancho Villa restaurant.

Live music evenings - if you are a lover of nightlife, when coming to Sighnaghi you should definitely visit Café - Chikchik, which operates in an ancient and historical place, the so-called “Old People's Garden”; along with delicious cuisine, you will also find live music on site - accompanied by a musical band and electronic music.

როგორც შიდა ასევე საერთაშორისო ვიზიტორებს შესაძლებლობა ეძლევათ ადგილზე გაეცნონ ქართულ ფოლკლორსა და შემოქმდებით პროგრამას, მონაწილეობა მიიღონ ყურძნის რთველში - ალაზნის ველის ვენახებში, მასპინძლებთან ერთად მოკრიფონ „ნიკო და კატოს ბაღიდან“  იშვიათი ჯიშის ბალი „ხარისგულა“ .
